Vale - TAYLOR
25/07/97 to 21/10/08

Tuesday I said goodbye to Taylor, my faithful friend of 11 years and 3
months. I loved this dog and know he loved me too. We had a good
time this weekend just gone, doing the things he loved.
He competed in agility trials on both Saturday and Sunday with some
successful runs too. Taylor was always up for a game, on Sunday
night he was playing happily under the sprinkler with my other two dogs.
Taylor achieved many more qualifications than the multiple ones
as his career was very successful long before multiples became possible.
Taylor was a gift to me from my Daughter. He was the best gift, and
taught me so much about how good everything was and how much
enjoyment a dog could give to any person. Taylor taught me people can learn a
lot from dogs: how not to hold grievances and withdraw from others, but to jump up
and make friends again.

Taylor was clever, insightful with just the right amount of daring-do,
Not easily fazed or scared - and a brave watchdog too.
He was happy to welcome me home from work each day
Always first dog at the door to welcome and say - I love you.
The joy of his wagging tail was a gift in my life,
He was the one you'd want beside you if ever in strife.
He helped teach others, both dogs and people alike,
The one who shared my room at night to allay my fears,
I'll never forget you Taylor - for you I shed my tears.
Goodbye my friend.
