New Zealand Agility Dog of

New Zealand Agility Dog of 2010

NZ Agility Dog of the Month and NZ Agility Dog of 2010 shall include separate monthly and annual competitions for the following height categories-

a)      Mini Agility Dog - not exceeding 380mm

b)      Midi Agility Dog - from 380mm but not exceeding 460mm

c)       Maxi Agility Dog – all other dogs

These will now be referred to as the “NZ Agility Dog Competitions”. They are all Annual & Monthly competitions running concurrently.

ALL DOGS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE ANNUAL COMPETITION BEFORE 1 NOVEMBER 2010. The Competition closes on 5 January the following year. Wins from any month will be accepted before closing date of the competition

ENTRY FEES
The Annual Entry Fee- Free for 2010 (provides entry into both NZ Agility Dog of the Month (every month during 2010) and NZ Agility Dog of 2010). Entrants must agree to the Terms and Conditions of entry before being accepted into the competition. Entries will be confirmed by email.

REGISTRATION
Each entrant must register online providing a photo of the dog (must be jpg attachment) to be included in the competition, and provide the following details-
•         Breed (if applicable)
•         Sex
•         Dogs name and title

•         Dog ANKC Registration Number (or equivalent)
•         Dogs date of birth
•         Owners Name
•         Owners address (must include country and state)
•         Owners Phone Number
•         Owners Email address

•         State where dog is trialled and resides
•         Sire and Dam of the Dog
•         Height Class (If the height class changes during the year, dogs must be re-registered with the new height) Points earned while in the previous height class remain in that competition, but also count towards the dog’s total annual points score.

In the Dogtrials Agility Comps, you can only be in the Height Class which equals the official (real) height of your dog, not which height class you enter at an Agility Trial. If your dog has to remeasured during the year, we will then add the dog to the new Height Class in the Dogtrial's Competition, manually.

The entrant provides surety to Showdogs (our Business), that they own the entrant. If the entrant is jointly owned, the entrant provides surety to Showdogs that they have the authority/agreement with the co-owner/s to enter the dog in this competition.

ELIGIBILITY

1.      To be eligible for the New Zealand Competitions, all dogs must be registered with the NZKC, and reside in and be trialed in New Zealand during the time period. Only dogs as per NZKC rules are eligible to compete for New Zealand Agility Dog of the year, as per NZKC Agility rules.

2.      The time period for the NZ Agility Dog Competitions of 2010 means between 1/1/2010 and 31/12/2010. Final submissions for the NZ Agility Dog Competitions of 2010 close on 5 January the following year.

3.       You only need to register your dog once during the year to be eligible for the Monthly and Annual separate competitions of Mini Agility Dog, Midi Agility Dog, and Maxi Agility Dog.
